BLOGMAS #2: Christmassy Phone

Christmas is something to celebrate with everyone...and everything. That's why I supposed it would be a good idea to show you a way to dress up your phone for (almost) everyone's favourite holiday.

All you have to do is to download CocoPPa on your phone. (It exists for iPhone and Android) Once you have downloaded it, you have the opportunity to create an account in order to "like" some decorations and easily find them later.

Now let's get to the point. Touch the "Lounge" section on the bottom left corner of the app.
Click on "Narrow Research" and write "Christmas" (on anything else).

Now chose the decoration you want and download it. You can either download the wallpaper or not, as you wish. Once it's done, determine on the icon you want and go on "set" to indicate which app you want it to correspond to. Click on "Ok" then on "Set". Safari will open, touch the indicated section and finally, "Add to Home Screen."

TADAAA it's done! Your phone is ready to celebrate Christmas with you.

18 days left!

BLOGGERS CHATS

As a Twitter fan, I often find myself wandering on this social media for no special reason. Therefore, on a basic evening a few weeks ago, I discovered something really interesting I wanted to talk to you about: bloggers chat

As you probably guessed, bloggers chats gather anyone with a blog in order to make them talk about a random topic. In fact, most often organised by Twitter accounts specially made to promote blogs (these accounts get to choose the topic), each chat happens once or twice a week (for example, on Mondays at 8pm UK time).
To participate, you need to answer to the questions asked by those same accounts during the chat with a special hashtag. For example, if you're a part of the FBL chat, your tweets must end with #fblchat.

Thanks to those events, bloggers get to meet each other and I had the chance to discuss really interesting topics with lovely people. It's an easy way to share ideas and thoughts about important things with a huge part of the blogging community.

There are several chats which explains that sometimes, it is hard not to be lost. Fortunately, some really nice bloggers posted chats schedules. Here's one posted on ThoughtTheMirror I found really useful.

Obviously, I haven't participated in all of them but I already have some I like more than the others. #fblchat and #fbloggers are definitely those I enjoy the most. #BlogHour and #bbloggers are great too! But as I said, there are a lot of them I haven't tried yet so I may change my mind.
If you want to share your point of view with me during a chat, or just talk about anything else, here's my twitterBut don't you forget this one rule...

OCTOBER FAVOURITES

Clothes:

Bershka Scarf

Everyone knows it, when sun starts to hide and leaves begins to fall, it's time for people to cover themselves under warm clothes and cosy blankets. That's why, since I'm a particularly sensitive to the cold person, as soon as weather becomes colder, I look for the warmest clothes to wear. Last Summer, my mother bought this cute little scarf from Bershka that I adore. And to be honest, I can't help myself from stealing it from her closet and wear it because I sincerely love it.

Stradivarius Jacket

This acid-washed jacket is one of my favourite clothes. It's comfortable and pretty. I bought it more than a year ago but I couldn't imagine myself doing a Favourites post without mentioning it.

Hand-Made beanie

As I said before, I L O V E warm clothes. This beanie is an item I specially have a fondness for. Indeed, it was entirely made by my lovely mom which is something I'm really proud of. I  genuinely like possessing good quality clothing you can wear more than once without it being bestroyed and unwearable. Therefore, when my mother asked me if I wanted her to knit me this, I couldn't resist!

Beauty:

Kiko nail polish

Rimmel nail polish

I love nail polish. When it gets cold, I personally prefer wearing dark colours on my nails so it fits well with my outfit. I choose to show you these two, the Kiko 705 and the Rimmel 397 Beige Babe, because they're are easy to wear and really pretty. Furthermore, the Rimmel one has a bigger brush than basic nail polish so it is simpler to put on.

Music :

Don't Kill The Magic! by Magic!

Lately, I've been loving Magic!'s debut album: Don't Kill The Magic!. Their first single, Rude, is not the best song ever but it's catchy and was a good summer song. I truly enjoy Let Your Hair Down, Little Girl Big World and One Woman One Man. You can listen to it here, hope you like it.

TvShows:

The Big Bang Theory

This has to be my favourite of october favourites. I started watching The Big Bang Theory this summer and ended it a few days ago and truth to be told, I looooove it. Everything about it makes me smile. The characters are hilarious and so are their lives. I couldn't talk about this show without mentioning my favourite part of it: Sheldon Cooper. Played by Jim Parsons, Sheldon is definitely one of my favourite characters ever. Obviously, everything is not about him and to be honest, every single thing about the show is amazing and you can understand it only after watching it.

The Flash

The Flash is a new show from The CW. I'm not such a fan of superheroes stories, to be honest, but I sincerely enjoy watching it. You may wonder why I started watching it if I don't like superheroes that much. Well, as The Flash is a spin off of the tv series Arrow I also watch, I had to see what it was like and I don't regret it at all.

INTERNET FRIENDS PART 1

Nowadays, Internet is a big part of people lives, specially teenagers'. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Youtube, (and Blogspot of course!)... However old you are, you've certainly heard these names and visited at least once all these sites. Obviously, these social networks help you staying in touch with your friends, discovering new artists and staying updated with information of those you already love. But there is one thing all these sites allow you I haven't mentioned yet: meeting new people
Remember when your parents told you "don't talk to strangers on the internet"? Haha, bullshit. You did it anyway. What a thug life! Sometimes you bump into people you'll only talk to a few times but sometimes, you meet people you consider as real friends and distance only becomes an easy obstacle to cross.
In my case, I met a few people in both categories but in the second one, there are particularly two people I think of and last week I saw one of them for the second time. Indeed, Maëlle (it's a French name haha) came over for a few days and I decided to share a little part of our week with you.

We took these photos in a photo booth the day she left. We took six and could only choose two so it was hard to pick out those we liked the most but actually I think both of them are great.
The same day, we also went shopping, and I bought some cute things I'll probably show you soon (at the end of the summer!). We had lunch in a restaurant and I ordered fish n'chips (with rice instead of chips odd isn't it?). It was quite tasty even if I didn't liked the salad because I hate salad sauce more than anything! For dessert, I had a crepe, I didn't take any photograph of it because it wasn't particularly pretty so I thought it was useless to post it haha. Instead, I show you my mom's best friend's dessert which is a coffee with creme brulee, vanilla ice cream and madeleines. It's pretty, colourful, and seemed to taste good.

The day before, I showed her the "town" I live in (i don't really know if it's considered as a town it's kinda small haha) and we hung Ed Sheeran's posters everywhere so people get to know him. I don't think it worked though since most of them were ripped off...However, it was great to share my love for this guy with the few people who saw it. Of course, while doing it, we were listenning to his new album X (I'll write a post about it as soon as possible). We actually spent the week listening to his and Nina Nesbitt's albums and even now that she left I can't stop playing them. The third photo was taken the same day. After finishing to hang all the posters we had, we went to a little park and there is Maëlle doing weird stuff while she's sat in the swing.
Finally, the last photo was taken the last day. Indeed, while waiting in the train station, we saw this poster of the TFIOS movie which hasn't come out in France yet. (I wrote about the book and you can read it right here!) It was not something really important but I didn't expect to see Shailene and Ansel's cute faces so why not sharing them with you? haha

Maëlle stayed 4 days so I only showed a little part of the time we spent together. Quite a long part of what I didn't show is related to One Direction and Nina and Ed's relationship so I SWEAR it's okay if I don't talk about it haha.
Anyway, I'll see her again in February...AND THE SAME DAY I'LL SEE ED FUCKING SHEERAN DO YOU HEAR ME CRYING?....

SEE YA IN FEBRUARY FOR PART 2 DARLINGS

Oh, and now I know all 5sos members' faces and names omg aren't you proud of me?
Because I am.
